New foo dog tattoo on Evan Dunham by Robert Pho

UFC fighter Evan Dunham stopped by a few weeks to get a new tattoo and here’s a flick of the finished piece. It’s always a pleasure to have him stop by the shop and if you’re a fan of the UFC then he needs to introduction .

Throwback: A picture of Evan and artist Robert Pho at the older shop along with a pic of some older work.

Months before Ronda Rousey dismantled Bethe Correia by KO, one fan had already decided she was the champ when he had her signature tattooed on his arm. Benjamin met Ronda at a local book signing in Las Vegas and asked if she could autograph his arm. Of course she willingly obliged and immediately thereafter, he went to Vegas tattoo artist Robert Pho to have it permanently inked on his skin. How’s that for loyalty?

After this weekends win. Rousey extends her record to 12-0 and lets just say the fight didn’t last very long – and we’re glad. You see, this fight was personal for Rousey because Correia is known to talk a lot of smack. In one of the most egregious remarks that could have been said, Correia made a statement back in May saying that she hoped Rousey wouldn’t kill herself after losing the UFC title – more than just a bit personal knowing that Rousey’s father took his own life when she was just a child.

Needless to say, once the bell rung, the fight only lasted 34 seconds before Rousey put Correia down.

But success didn’t come overnight for Rousey. She’s been putting in work since way back when and at the age of 17 many people didn’t know that she went to the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, but fell a bit short of winning a medal. She then returned to the 2008 Beijing Olympics where she took home a bronze – making her the first American to earn an Olympic medal in Judo.
