Skin Design Tattoo Artist
Amanda was born and raised in Camarillo, California. She loved drawing ever since she was a kid. She was always doodling half sleeves on her arms with sharpies. All of her friends told her to be a tattoo artist but she believed she was supposed to be a surgeon and entered college pursuing that career until she finally decided to stop denying her artistic abilities.
A few shops Amanda applied to didn’t even look at her portfolio because she was female. After continuously pursuing, she finally landed an apprenticeship and began the career she was meant for. Amanda specializes in black & gray realism, sacred geometry & blackwork.
She loves tattooing because of how her clients walk out with so much more confidence than how they walked in. She says that tattoos really do heal wounds both inside and out. “Seeing people light up as they appreciate the art they’ve trusted me to put on them forever, it’s kind of magical”
